Cowboy Obstacle course
Have Fun Building Riding Skills and Confidence
The obstacles on the StoneCreek course are what a working cowboy or cowgirl may face on any given day. Natural embankments, wooded trails, a fringed tarp to ride under, back and turn up-hill, logs to cross, 120’ circle to lope, raincoat exchange, light log drag, leading your horse downhill, and a water crossing are obstacles our guests have found exciting and educational.
The course ends with a little twist. We didn’t think a cowboy course was complete without an opportunity to work livestock, so the final task is to enter a pen of cattle by opening and closing gates, separating one cow and putting it into a separate pen.
You can experience this course when you sign up for the "Horsemanship Experience" package or bring your own horse to ride.
